• Gifted/IQ Testing
• SAT (or any other standardized test) accommodations
• Accommodations in college
These evaluations are recommended for individuals who are unclear as to why they are experiencing certain challenges. Many symptoms can be explained by different diagnoses. A comprehensive evaluation will accurately differentiate between diagnoses with similar presentations. This evaluation includes clinical interviews, formal testing, behavioral checklists, formal feedback, and a comprehensive written report.
This type of evaluation is helpful when there are concerns regarding attention. While most people often think of hyperactive children when they think of ADHD, this diagnosis can look different in different people, and it can be present in children as well as adults. While inattention is a core feature, the way ADHD effects executive functioning (planning, organization, time management), can cause significant impairment. Having a formal diagnosis allows one to seek appropriate treatment and receive accommodations that can help improve functioning.

These types of evaluations are done when a student experiences academic difficulties and is not progressing at the expected pace. This can happen in one subject (such as reading or math), or it can happen in multiple subjects. A formal evaluation will pinpoint where and why an individual is struggling. This information is obtained through interviews and formal testing. Understanding an individual’s strengths and weaknesses allows for accommodations that will allow for optimal learning conditions.
