We're Here to Listen
Welcome!
Hi, my name is Dr. Sarah Bakhski and I am a Psychologist based in Atlanta GA. I’m here to help guide you through discovering the reason you might be struggling and how to make it better.
While I began my professional training to be a Marriage and Family Therapist, I soon realized that my real passion lies in helping people determine the root of their challenges.
I believe the most important aspect of an evaluation is the recommendations that follow. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. My job is to build upon each individual’s strengths to help them compensate for their weaknesses. Providing clients with a comprehensive understanding of how they function will allow for the most appropriate interventions.
My goal is to help my clients obtain the resources that will enable them to thrive in schools, relationships, and in life.

While inattention is a core feature, the way ADHD effects executive functioning (planning, organization, time management), can cause significant impairment. Having a formal diagnosis allows one to seek appropriate treatment and receive accommodations that can help improve functioning.

A formal evaluation will pinpoint where and why an individual is struggling. This information is obtained through interviews, observations, and formal testing. Understanding an individual’s strengths and weaknesses allows for accommodations that will provide optimal learning conditions. The results of this type of evaluation guides specific recommendations on how an individual will learn and perform best.
